ABOUT ME
Originally from Kraków, Poland, where I got my BA in Journalism and Polish Literature, and MA in Cultural Studies at the Department of Polish Philology of the Jagiellonian University, I am currently an ABD in the Department of Slavic and Baltic Languages and Literatures at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Back in Poland I used to work as a freelance journalist for various media, an editor and a PR specialist. This experience helps me think about education in broader terms: as a means to pass the cultural capital, as a set of marketable skills, and, lastly, as a perfect platform to nurture critical thinking.
